Spreading God's word for over twenty years.

Roger Stewart is the Team Leader and Teaching Pastor at the Journey Church of God Edmonton who helps put people in touch with God, and each other to bring us powerful messages that change lives. Roger and his wife Vicki have two children:  Stephen and Sarah. In 1993 Roger obtained a Master of Divinity Degree with a concentration in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. He has also completed a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Indiana.  He spent time in Ontario, Illinois and Michigan in Youth Ministry, and in Manitoba as a senior pastor before coming to Edmonton in 2004 to help establish the newly planted Journey Church of God. He's A man with a true passion for teaching and a love for sharing the joys of Christ

Journey Church of God Edmonton welcomes everyone from all walks of life and Roger's passion is that people will encounter the living God, whether that occurs through events, outreaches, church services, prayer meetings, counseling sessions, or ministry times. In addition to leading the Journey Church, Roger has been active in coaching kids sports and driving school bus in Edmonton. He wants to see people experience God, not just know about Him but know Him and be impacted by His presence, His love, and His power. Roger also believes that everything God does here among our church He ultimately wants to pour over into the unreached parts of the world.

Pastor Roger has made it his life's mission to serve his community and spread the love God has for us all.
